Bob Davis is a Senior StaffLighting Engineer at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, where hisresponsibilities include serving as Technical Director of the Solid-StateLighting program and leading several human factors research efforts. He hasbeen a faculty member in architecture at RPI’s Lighting Research Center and inengineering at the University of Colorado at Boulder. His experience includesworking in engineering and marketing at a lamp manufacturer and leading theproduct development and engineering teams at a luminaire manufacturer. He hasdegrees in Architectural Engineering and a Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology, andis a Fellow of the Illuminating Engineering Society. He is Co-Director of theRocky Mountain Lighting Academy at the University of Colorado, where he alsohas an appointment as an Adjoint faculty member in architectural engineering.
