Amber Poirier studied philosophy at the University of California Santa Barbara and went on to gain professional experience in education, the culinary arts and the medical field. She found her passion in the lighting industry four years ago and is particularly interested in how light can be used to improve the mental and physical health of a space’s occupants. Amber co-founded the BOSLady Book Club in 2018 and curates their weekly newsletter on design, personal development and inspiration, and women and minorities in business.
