About this Course
The IES offers Educational Webinars throughout the year, purposefully spanning a broad range of topics and speaker expertise.
Description: The first generation of LED luminaires—once seen as groundbreaking—are now reaching the end of their life. Unlike traditional lighting systems, these integrated LED products often cannot be repaired or upgraded, leading to costly replacements and significant waste. This challenge isn’t just technical—it’s systemic, impacting sustainability goals, design practices across the industry and our client’s budget. Join us as we explore why this is happening, what it means for the future of architectural lighting, and how we can work together to create solutions that prioritize longevity and circular design.
