Mike is President and CTO of LightLab International Allentown, LLC. Previously, he was the President of Luminaire Testing Laboratory, Inc. (LTL) for 12 years and principal engineer for lighting performance testing with UL for three years. He is a Past President of the IES Lehigh Valley Chapter and past chair of the IES Testing Procedures Committee (TPC), and currently serves as a member of the IES Ethics Committee, and a board member of the Council for Optical and Radiation Measurement (CORM). He is also the Chair of the IES Lighting Science Advisory Panel, and Chair of the IES Standards Committee. He is an active member of several working groups under the IES TPC, and an active member of the Skyglow Calculations Committee and Nomenclature Committee of the IES.

Pat has worked in the lighting industry for 43 years including theatrical, television, and commercial lighting venues, as a Lighting Designer/Director. Currently, Pat is the Senior Manager of Technical Content, overseeing all phases of IES Standards Development. Pat also teaches at the New York School of Interior Design, enjoys sailing, biking and skiing.
