Gerardo Pavon
Lighting Designer
The Flaming Beacon Lighting Designers
I'm a passionate lighting designer with a background in architecture and design originally from Mexico.
After 7 years of experience in the field of high-end architecture in Mexico City, I decided to slightly change my career towards lighting design, achieving an M.A in Architectural lighting design at the University of Wismar in Germany and later moving to Australia to continue my professional practice in "The Flaming Beacon Lighting Designers" currently having at least 5 years of experience in lighting for hospitality, theatre, residential amongst other projects.
My latest research "Inclusive lighting for social housing" and my cultural and geographical background has driven me to find a way to dedicate my professional practice towards a contribution to our communities and environment with the premise that good quality lighting should not be underestimated no matter what the condition, abilities, or social status is.
